Our story
A name Randburg has trusted since 1998.
What began in Fred Fourie's garage is now one of Randburg's most trusted panel-beating and spray-painting workshops.
The Brilliant Shine story
One craft, done exceptionally well.
Brilliant Shine began in 1998 in Fred Fourie's own garage: a single bay, a set of hand tools, and an obsession with getting every panel exactly right.
More than 25 years on, we've stayed deliberately specialist. We do one thing, and we do it exceptionally well: returning damaged vehicles to factory condition. That focus is why owners across Randburg keep coming back, and why their insurers trust us with the work.
Today the workshop is run by a team carrying anywhere from 5 to 25 years of hands-on experience. Together we've completed thousands of repairs, work that earned a 4.8-star rating across 88+ Google reviews.

What we stand for
The values behind every repair.
The same principles that guided the first job in 1998 still run through everything we do today.
Craftsmanship
We reshape, refinish and rebuild until the repair simply disappears. Factory condition is the only standard we accept.
Transparency
Honest, itemised quotes and a firm completion date with every job. No surprises, no hidden extras.
Reliability
A tight, specialist workflow means we work to the completion date we give you, without ever cutting corners.
Accountability
Owner-led from day one. You deal with real, named people who put their name to every car that leaves the workshop.
Why choose us
Trust, earned one car at a time.
Choosing a panel beater means trusting someone with your safety and your car's value. Here's why Randburg keeps choosing us.
A guarantee in writing
Every repair is backed by a written 12-month workmanship warranty*, with a certificate handed over alongside your keys.
Real, accountable people
Owner-led since 1998. You speak with Fred and a hands-on team, not a call centre or a faceless franchise.
Proof you can see
A 4.8-star rating across 88+ Google reviews, and the before-and-after work in our gallery to back it up.
The people
The hands behind the finish.
A close-knit Randburg team, led by Fred Fourie, with experience spanning 5 to 25 years on the workshop floor.
Every member of the team takes personal pride in the cars that leave our doors, because their name is on the work.
